An Important Message from the League

The League of Women Voters of the Lower Keys stands in solidarity with those who grieve for the loss of George Floyd. Key West has long embodied the view of “One Human Family” and values the dignity and decency of all lives. We must be committed to listening to and amplifying Black voices, to educating ourselves and our children on the historic and ongoing systemic racism that plagues this country, and to working with our own governments to support change.
